University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology
Since 1932, the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology has published academic books that feature excellent scholarship, meticulous research, and innovative interpretation. We continue this tradition today, producing data-rich books on the archaeology and ethnology of Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America, and Europe. Our authors use illustrations, photographs, tables, and charts to explain their research in comprehensive detail, resulting in books that are priceless records of data, relevant to current and future researchers.

Submissions
We accept proposals and queries from any scholar. The publications committee, which is made up of several Museum curators and the editor, reviews proposals. The committee selects manuscripts based on quality of scholarship and writing, as well as technical and economic feasibility. The Museum looks especially for manuscripts that complement our research interests and theoretical approaches.
