Richmond Lattimore, professor of Greek at Bryn Mawr, is widely recognized as a talented poet and translator. His first volume of poetry was published in 1957. This second volume includes poems originally printed in The New Yorker, Harper's, The New Republic, Poetry, The Kenyon Review, and other periodicals, as well as in Best Articles and Stories and New Poems by American Poets. In addition, this collection contains many new poems published here for the first time.
