Mark J. Rozell is Associate Professor of Political Science, Mary Washington College. He is the author of The Press and the Carter Presidency (Choice Outstanding Book of 1989) and coeditor with James F. Pontuso of American Conservative Opinion Leaders. His articles have been published in Political Science Quarterly, Polity, and Presidential Studies Quarterly. Rozell has earned numerous academic felllowship awards, including the Gerald R. Ford Foundation Fellowship, the National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship, and the American Political Science Association Small Research Grant.
