Jill Dolan is an American cultural studies scholar. After teaching at the University of Texas at Austin, she spent the core of her later career at Princeton University as the Annan Professor of English and Professor of Theater in the Lewis Center for the Arts. At Princeton, she also directed the Program in Gender and Sexuality Studies and served a prominent tenure as the Dean of the College from 2015 to 2024, navigating the undergraduate curriculum through the shifts of the COVID-19 pandemic before retiring from the faculty in 2026. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
