New Digital Rhetoric Collaborative book series, book prize, and website

The University of Michigan Press, MPublishing, and the University of Michigan's Gayle Morris Sweetland Center for Writing have formed a partnership to launch the Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative (DRC), which will publish a series of born-digital or digitally enhanced books on digital rhetoric; award an annual prize of $5,000 for the best book published in the series; and host a website by and for teachers and scholars working in digital rhetoric that will feature a curated blog, offer a resources section and wiki, and serve as a forum for conversations on digital rhetoric and related topics.

The Sweetland DRC Book Series will be comprised of texts that explore the intersections between technologies and communications and the contexts in which they occur. More information about the series, including profiles of DRC Board members and information for authors, can be found here. More information about the University of Michigan Press/Sweetland Publication Prize in Digital Rhetoric, which is funded by the Sweetland Center for Writing, can be found here.

The DRC website, http://www.digitalrhetoriccollaborative.org/, is live, and people are also invited to connect with the DRC on Facebook and Twitter.
