The University of Michigan hockey team completed the 2008-09 regular season with a win on February 28 over Ferris State. The Wolverines led the league statistically in offense and defense, giving many fans high hopes that the season will end with trips to the CCHA Tournament and possibly even the Frozen Four in Washington, DC, April 9-11. The University of Michigan Press's Blue Ice: The Story of Michigan Hockey by John U. Bacon was cited in this recent Ann Arbor News story: [ link ].
